- > Second, bug reports. I am to blame. I haven't been compiling a list like
- > I should have been and adding it to the FAQ. So, here is what I propose:
- > 1. We need a simple ASCII form for you to fill out
- This could be augmented with a fillout form on the WWW server
- (Andy- can you run cgi scripts on your server?) - I have the some cgi
- scripts we use on a our internal WWW server for bug reports. Basically,
- you fill out the form, and press the submit button, the information is
- sent to the WWW server, and it composes a mail message and sends
- it. This would aliviate the need for reformatting, but there should also
- be a manual method.
-
- > 2. Send the form to me. I will then format it to make it look pretty
- > and send it to a list of people willing to try and duplicate the
- > bug. After the results are in, I post to the mailing list either
- > a confirmation and/or workaround or an explanation as to why it is
- > not a bug but it is a ?????.
-
- This should also be added to the WWW server. Also, if the bug
- relates to a particular command, I could add it to the entry for the
- command in the AMOSPro_Help.guide file - thats where it would
- be most useful.
-
- Here are some ideas for the form (Not formatted very well):
